The Fransaskois Parent Association (APF) is a provincial non-profit organization that provides services and support to its membership. Members include parents whose children attend a Fransaskois playgroup or family support centre (CAFE), a Fransaskois daycare, preschool or school.  The parent does not have to speak French to be a member.  Any parent wishing to obtain membership can join our association by getting in contact with us at apf.info@sasktel.net or call toll-free at 1-855-653-7444.

Supporting families
APF encourages families to adopt healthy lifestyles by providing a variety of family and children support services, including family and child support centres.
Being an active community partner
APF builds partnerships within the community, with organizations that help us support family and children in order to improve the overall well-being of families.
Support for parents
APF recognizes the importance of a parent’s role as primary caregiver and educator of their child. We seek to accompany, guide and welcome parents through our various services.

Welcoming and Supporting Parents
Are you or do you know a family who has just had a new baby? Is your family new to Saskatchewan? APF welcomes families with a newborn between the ages of 0 and 1 year old with a gift bag filled with resources for a healthy start!
Gift Bags
We encourage anyone willing to become more integrated into the francophone community in Saskatchewan to contact us in order to obtain plenty of fun gift bags filled with educational material. We are proud to offer several kits that not only encourage kids to flourish in a francophone environment but to also enjoy being surrounded by french lingo.
Family and Child Support Centres
Mini lending libraries, francophone playgroups, parental education programs, health promotion and much more for parents and their children ages 0-5 years old. The Family support centre is a safe and educational environment where your child can be immersed in French, where you as an English-speaking parent, can find the tools you will need to support your child with French at home and at school. Communicate with us to find out if there is a CAFE in your area.
Parent Workshops
Parents are invited to come and learn about different topics regarding the health and well-being of their families.
French Early Years Support and Services
Thanks to our partnership with the Conseil des écoles fransaskoises and other community partners, access to quality services for young children and their families is available. We work with the Fransaskois daycare centers to support programming, developpment, administration, evaluation, recruitment, training and professional development as well as access to tools and resources by our early years educators. Join us in May to celebrate our daycare workers in Early Years Education Month!
